Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Laura Vaccariello, known to her patients as Dr. Vac — is a Charlotte native who has always been passionate about education and healthcare. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College, then spent several years teaching high school Biology in Chicago. Her dedication to science and service led her back to Boston, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, Dr. Vaccariello completed a General Practice Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated program, where she received advanced clinical training. She then pursued her specialty in orthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she also earned a Master’s degree. Dr. Vac and her husband, Matt, live in Fort Mill with their two young children, Will and Remi. Meet Our Team
Nikki is the welcoming face you’ll see as soon as you walk through our doors. As our Front Office Coordinator since 2017, she plays a key role in ensuring that every patient and family feels comfortable, informed, and cared for from start to finish. Serving as a liaison between our team and our patients, Nikki is committed to making each visit a smooth and positive experience.
As an adult orthodontic patient herself, Nikki brings a unique perspective and genuine empathy to her role. She understands the journey firsthand and is always happy to share her insight and encouragement with others.
A proud South Carolina native, Nikki was born and raised in York and is the proud mom of three wonderful children: Jaylen, Mariah, and Aliyah. Outside of the office, you’ll likely find her at a band or winter guard competition, supporting her kids as a dedicated "dance mom." She loves spending time with family and friends, and she’s a loyal fan of both the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Carolina Panthers!

Paige is one of our talented and dedicated Clinical Assistants, and her connection to the practice goes way back—she was once a patient here herself! After completing her own orthodontic journey with us in middle school, Paige returned as a summer intern in 2023 and quickly became a valued full-time member of our team. She especially enjoys watching patients achieve their smile goals and celebrating their progress every step of the way.
Originally born in Virginia, Paige grew up right here in Fort Mill. She shares her home with her beloved fur baby, Koda, who’s never far from her side. When she’s not in the office, Paige enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Paige brings a bright, enthusiastic energy to the practice and loves being part of each patient’s transformation.

Carla is one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors. She joined our practice in 2020 as our Front Desk Coordinator, bringing with her over 14 years of experience in the dental field. Throughout her career, she has worked in several dental specialties, but she’s happiest to be back where she feels most at home—orthodontics!
A proud South Carolina native, Carla was born and raised in York and now lives in Sharon with her husband, Jimmy, and their three beloved dogs. Outside of the office, she enjoys riding ATVs, baking, crafting, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Originally from Virginia, she moved to Rock Hill, SC around age 10 to be closer to her mom—and she’s called the Carolinas home ever since. Family is everything to her, and she often travels back to Virginia to visit her dad and all the way to Seattle, Washington to spend time with her mom.
Outside of the office, she loves making memories with her 7-year-old daughter, Stephanie. Whether they’re journaling, painting, or simply enjoying time with family, they bring joy and creativity into everything they do.
Her warmth, life experience, and love for connecting with others make her a wonderful part of our team and a bright light in the office each day.

Her warm personality, clinical expertise, and dedication to patient care make Shelley a valued part of our team and a joy to have in the office.

Born and raised in Rock Hill, Taylor brings an energetic and down-to-earth spirit to our team. As the only girl in a family with four brothers, she knows how to hold her own—and how to bring positivity and patience to every part of the day. She’s currently going through her own smile journey with braces, which gives her a unique perspective and a personal connection to our patients.
When she’s not in the office, you can find her out on the lake soaking up boat days, riding ATVs with friends and family, or enjoying beach time while visiting her mom in Charleston. She’s also a proud dog mom to Boomer, her playful pup who’s always up for an adventure.
